Great Lakes Foot and Ankle Institute offers routine and advanced foot and ankle care at its flagship Oak Lawn, Illinois, location. Our physicians are highly-trained and specialized to treat a breadth of foot and ankle ailments. Common conditions we treat include plantar fasciitis, bunions, sports injuries, ingrown toenails, wounds, and gout. Our physicians also specialize in advanced procedures, including ankle joint replacements, Charcot joint replacements, wound care, and limb salvage for diabetic and trauma patients.
Accessibility and patient care are a top priority at Great Lakes Foot and Ankle. Our office features the latest medical equipment and renovated facilities. We also offer late night and weekend hours to ensure availability and access for all of our patients. Our clinic maintains affiliations with several suburban Chicago hospitals, including Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, and Ingalls Memorial Hospital at the University of Chicago in Harvey.
Our medical staff brings decades of experience. Our board-certified physicians are fellows of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Wound Management, and are active members of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association. They have been published in medical journals, have invented new procedures, and frequently travel to lecture on podiatry.
We are proud to be one of the few Chicago Foot and Ankle groups involved in research in regenerative medicine and Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology (EPAT).
